  2. American English is preferred for ESL because it's more musical, hence from an intuitive point of view it seems easy, because ESL environment is more likely to be influenced culture-wise above all music and movies) by the US than any other English-speaking country. I think that most non-native speakers adopt a mix , British English is always at least partly present in the mix for most college educated non-native speakers for the simple reason that most English language education methods still take British English as a standard.

    1. Thankyou sita, but sorry ur question not in the my material, but its oke I try to answer, Bismillah This chart contains all the sounds (phonemes) used in the English language. For each sound, it gives:
The symbol from the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), as used in phonetic transcriptions in modern dictionaries for English learners — that is, in A. C. Gimson’s phonemic system with a few additional symbols.
The chart represents British and American phonemes with one symbol. One symbol can mean two different phonemes in American and British English. See the footnotes for British-only and American-only symbols.
Two English words which use the sound. The underline shows where the sound is heard.

    2. Thank you for the answer, you say that the phoneme in America and in England is different, what is the background of the difference, then who suggests that English in America and in English is different Thank you

      Hapus
    3. Oke, so the British are also more likely to use formal speech, such as ‘shall’, whereas Americans favour the more informal ‘will’ or ‘should’.
Americans, however, continue to use ‘gotten’ as the past participle of ‘get’, which the British have long since dropped in favour of ‘got’.
‘Needn’t’, which is commonly used in British English, is rarely, if at all used in American English. In its place is ‘don’t need to’.
In British English, ‘at’ is the preposition in relation to time and place. However, in American English, ‘on’ is used instead of the former and ‘in’ for the latter. There may be certain differences between British and American English, the key takeaway is that the two have more similarities. Accidentally using one instead of the other will not automatically lead to miscommunication. Americans and Brits can usually communicate with each other without too much difficulty, so don’t be too hard on yourself if you are unable to memorise the nuances of both languages

    4. Thank you for the answer, I want the Berta back Then what is the background of the difference, As we know English is divided in Two, UK, and US. Is English native to America or from English, explain to us, why English is not from Europe? As we know, countries on the European continent use English. Thank you

      Hapus
    5. Ok shita, English can be divided into various types. Two of them are the most dominant used is American English (American English) and British English (English Uk/English).Why there are two types of English? It is triggered by the conflict between England/Britain and the American colonies, in which the American people fought to release themselves from the governance of England and which eventually culminate in the war of independence of the United States.British English is derived from the writings of Samuel Johnson in his book The Dictionary of the English Language (English Dictionary) which was published in 1755. While American English was first introduced by Noah Webster through his book An American Dictionary of the English Language (American Dictionary of the English Language) in the year 1828.American english used in the United states and the countries influenced by America. Canada also uses American English because of the close proximity to the United. British English is also used in Inggrisjuga used by the countries of the commonwealth. New Zealand English is to British English. This. no wonder, because not so long ago, Dunedin city in New Zealand is inhabited by a group of settlers from Edinburgh, United kingdom. It can be seen from the language and everyday terms used by the citizens of the kiwi.

    1. Walaikumsalam, hello meysin thanks for u question, actually i dont know what do u mean? But no problem i can try to answers, u use the wovels,The most common letter in the English language is the letter E, a vowel.
The vowels O, I and A are also among the top seven most used letters in English. We need vowels to form words—without them, other letters are almost impossible to pronounce.
Unfortunately, vowels are also one of the hardest parts of English when it comes to pronunciation. There just seem to be so many ways to say them!
The good news is, there are actually only a few different ways to pronounce vowels. The real trick is knowing when to use each sound.
You’ll find a comprehensive guide of English vowel usage at the bottom of this post. First, though, let’s get to know some vowels.

    1. Hai siti, oke
Phonetics is about the physical aspect of sounds, it studies the production and the perception of sounds, called phones. Phonetics has some subcategories, but if not specified, we usually mean "articulatory phonetics": that is, "the study of the production of speech sounds by the articulatory and vocal tract by the speaker". Phonetic transcriptions are done using the square brackets.

Phonology is about the abstract aspect of sounds and it studies the phonemes (phonemic transcriptions adopt the slash / /). Phonology is about establishing what are the phonemes in a given language, i.e. those sounds that can bring a difference in meaning between two words. A phoneme is a phonic segment with a meaning value, for example in minimal pairs:
      bat - pat
      had - hat

    1. Walaikumsalam warohmatullahi wabarakatu , phonetics is important not only for the scientists, but also for anyone who either teaches or learns a foreign language. One of the most important applications of phonetics is in the teaching foreign languages. It also enables learners to better understand and speak the language they are learning.
